Wellness: New Mobile App Makes Anthem Experience Personal

Anthem's new mobile app, Sydney, is here. Sydney replaces the Anthem Anywhere app, bringing members a smart, more human experience. It's much more than just another mobile app. It's a personal health ally powered by artificial intelligence (AI) that feels as if it's a real person.

Sydney's interactive chat feature gives members answers right away. They find what they need with text-based, real-time, AI-driven responses to common questions-no need to call Member Services every time.

With Sydney members can see their benefits and get access to medical, dental and vision claims all in one place. Sydney gives members a quick view of their care team with contact information and more (this feature is available at anthem.com for desktop users too).

Members who use the Engage mobile app for the Engage Basic and Standard Wellbeing programs will continue to use this app until their group health plan renews in 2020. After that, they'll use Sydney.
