Princeton City Schools Vies for HB264 ProjectSeptember 2012
Princeton City Schools, a school district just north of Cincinnati, OH, recently submitted a proposal to the Ohio School Facilities Commission seeking a House Bill 264 Project for its new Middle School/High School complex.
The proposed plan would reduce energy usage/costs through replaced interior and exterior lighting, implementing an Energy Dashboard, and enhancing HVAC and lighting controls. Gary Robinson, facilities performance engineer for Four Seasons Environmental, Inc., explains that the Energy Dashboard is a tool to let Princeton know when its facilities go out of normal operation, as well as provide notifications should a component fail.
"Princeton's new complex is going to be state of the art," says Gary, "but the proposed HB264 program allows Princeton City Schools to achieve their energy goals."
