A Brief History
 |
How We
Did It
If the typical company has a history of more unplanned events
than planned events, then FSE just might qualify as typical.
|
1985 |
In 1985 FSE
began operations as a mechanical contractor in southwest Ohio
with one of its first project being an extensive laboratory
remodel project in the private sector. |
|
1985 |
1985 found
this laboratory experience leading FSE south to The Centers for
Disease Control where we combined laboratory remodel work at CDC
with an Air Force Delivery Order Contract at Dobbins AFB.
Remodel work continued for both clients. |
|
1987 |
FSE opened
the operation and maintenance door with CDC on its newly
constructed Virology Laboratory. CDC continues to be FSE's
oldest client. Today FSE operates CDC laboratories in Ohio and
Georgia at six project sites. |
|
1994 |
This year brought
on another growth spurt. This time we returned to the Air Force,
but at Wright Patterson AFB instead of Dobbins AFB. We peaked at
130 employees at this single WPAFB R&D Laboratory O&M and
construction site in 1998. We operated and maintained 8,000
pieces of equipment in 150 buildings, all with an FSE designed
preventative maintenance program. |
|
1999 |
This year broadened
our client base to add USDA and G. E. to our client base that
already included: CDC, IRS, U. S.
Army Corps of engineers, DSCC, and DFAS. |
|
2000-
2001 |
Then in 2000
and 2001, EPA and the Ohio National Guard were added, along with
the Ohio Schools Facility Commission and the Ohio State
University. |
|
2004 |
The
US Navy chose FSE to operate, maintain and repair its SPAWAR
Laboratory Facilities in Charleston, SC. |
|
2004 |
FSE became a GSA schedule provider of
operation, maintenance and repair services. |
|
2005 |
The
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in
concert with GSA chose FSE to operate, maintain and repair its
new operations center in Suitland, MD. While we would like to
state that our history is the result of the application of great
skill, vision, and foresight, we must admit to the truth that
our success has resulted from grace and walking through doors of
opportunity as they opened. |
|
2006 |
This year we
proudly added IRS in Covington, KY to our list of clients. |
So far we've had a wonderful ride thanks to the faithfulness of
all our clients. Any measure of success we have enjoyed has come
from the consistent application of these two focus points:
- satisfy the client, and
- continuously improve
Thanks to the loyalty of our clients, FSE has enjoyed an unbroken
record of success since 1985. |
